What exactly is the picture about? Or is it just an idea featuring what you were told to put in? Just nosey and since it's a sketch, are you going to colour it in anyway?

Well, the assignment was all about drawing hands/feet and had to be surrealism. It was really an assignment were you had to state something about yourself, and for weeks I was in such an art block over it I got extremely stressed out. But surprisingly, my anger created this piece....how the hands reaching out through the flames and claws at the demon-foot...which is actually a tree were the leaves are created with pencil strokes from the tree itself (the leaves will be of all diffrent things, but for now their nothing). It's how I have to reach through pain i've felt in life and grasp drawing as my salvation from it. And yes, I have never put this much thought into a piece before XD

Since the finished piece will not be colored...I probably won't color this one...but one of my teachers wants me to color it so i'll consider coloring it digitally.

Of course! I always put my finished art pieces on DA....if you peek through my gallery you'll find some projects I did last year ^^
